Tongue-tied

I work up the courage to start a blog, read many blogs that inspire me, then when about to take the leap, I’m not sure what to say.  Perhaps I can start off with some homages to blogs that I’ve been following.  Each inspires me so much.

The Variegated Life – in which Rachael, with eloquence and grace, walks on air while exploring parenting, writing, and work-soul-life balances.

The Practical Dilettante – Seonaid’s brave, funny, and passionate entries that make me applaud her honesty and challenge myself to join the blogosphere.   I wish I lived next door so I could think of excuses to go drink coffee and learn more about treading softly on our planet.

Jeremy Harmer’s Blog – Jeremy is an educator, fellow musician, and sometime pirate.  His writings on teaching and learning always make me (and many others around the world) think.

Athene Donald’s Blog – About science, physics, gender, education and academia.   Read it.

It took me nearly 2 years to start to write consistently. And now the biggest problem is which post to finish first! It was like drilling a hole in a dam, I guess. Looking forward to hearing your stories.
